Temperature Profiler RASS
The Metek RASS radar system enables vertical profiling of temperatures, temperature gradients and inversion layers of the atmosphere between 30 and 500m altitude. The system is fully integrated with the Metek SODAR system PCS.2000 for wind profiling.
The system is fully integrated with the SODAR system PCS.2000. For compliance with national frequency regulations radar transmitters are offered at 915 and 1290 MHz. For long range measurements a 482 MHz version is available.
The system includes separate transmit- and receive parabolic antennas of 1.8 m or 2.4 m.
Optionally, for harsh conditions, the antennas can be heated.
