AMES Meteorology

AMES meteorological stations are flexible and can accept an arbitrary configuration of sensors. They can be used as 

synoptic stations, for the climatology, airport meteorology, industrial appliances, or for the research use. They are also a standard part of the environmental monitoring networks.

SW packages, developed by AMES for standalone stations and for the central computers enable data acquisition, integrated QA/QC procedures, on-line data processing, SQL compatible databases and user fiendly dissemination of meteorological information, including automatic messages (SYNOP, METAR, QAM...). Stations are connected into systems by telephone, radio, GSM/GPRS or computer networks. Users can connect to station / system databases throug TCP/IP, using the intuitive user / system interfaces.

During last 15 years, AMES has delivered and installed few hundreds of meteorological stations, mostly connected to the automatic networks. Among them are synoptic and climatological stations for the Environmental Agency of Slovenia, Airport meteorological systems for Ljubljana, Zagreb, Batajnica, Maribor, Portorož, and Cerklje airports, anemometers for Pula, Osijek, Brač and Orsta-Volda airports, and many other meteo stations.
