The SQ-R+ is a non-contact radar flow measurement system designed for wastewater treatment plants, sewers, and industrial water channels. It continuously measures flow velocity and water level to calculate discharge without touching the water, ensuring maintenance-free operation even in harsh, debris-heavy environments.

The SQ-R+ provides continuous, contact-free measurement of flow rate in effluent channels, partially filled pipes, technical ducts, and industrial water systems. Since the sensor is mounted above the water surface, it is not affected by debris, sediment, or entrained solids.

The SQ-R+ is designed for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, sewer networks, and process water systems. It enables operators to monitor inflow volumes for plant control and cost allocation. Additionally, it records rain and flood events to support effective sewer system management.
Installation and Implementation
Thanks to its compact design and flexible mounting options, the sensor can be easily installed under bridges, on sewer ceilings, inside manholes, or other confined spaces. The non-contact technology prevents clogging and blockage common with submerged sensors.
A specially designed adjustable mounting bracket is available for manhole installations.
Autonomous Monitoring Option
For remote locations without grid access, the SQ-R+ can operate as a standalone monitoring station when combined with a data logger, transmission modem, battery system, and solar panel. An optional camera can be added for on-site visual monitoring.
