The SMP22X is our most advanced ISO 9060:2018 spectrally flat Class A smart pyranometer, engineered for uncompromising precision in solar PV monitoring and scientific research. Built on the trusted SMP22 platform, SMP22X introduces long-term stability, a 5-year maximum calibration interval, and internal desiccant monitoring for superior lifecycle performance. While both share features like Modbus RTU communication, internal desiccant with a 10-year lifespan, and SmartExplorer software support, the SMP22X improves performance with a better temperature stability (±0.3% vs ±0.5%), and directional response errors. These improvements make it more suitable for demanding applications like scientific research and SCADA systems.
