Modernisation of Ljubljana Air Quality Monitoring Station

AMES has installed new equipment for the air quality monitoring station in the Ljubljana center. Station is owned by the City of Ljubljana and is now equipped with the newest AMS 156A measuring processor, as well as with the most advanced AMES software package for the station computer. Station measures meteorology, noise level, ambient concentrations of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, organic compounds (BTX) and particles (PM10). Data are transmitted regularly to the center, using GSM Internet connection. With this modernization, Ljubljana station has become fully compatible with other air quality monitoring stations in Slovenia.
